Istanbul, 01 July 2009 - AirTies, the innovative wireless home networking vendor has today announced its strategic partnership with Dutch independent digital video solutions provider and systems integrator, Divitel, to provide its core IP set-top box platform to Divitel’s customer base of professional communication and media, enterprise and non-profit making organisations in Europe. The partnership will also support AirTies’ expansion into the IPTV market in Western Europe.

Divitel will deploy AirTies’ high definition, Air 7120, an easy-to-setup, flexible and cost-effective IP set-top box with support for multicast video from live TV channels, Video-On-Demand and Web applications. The Air 7120 model carries ample memory and storage capacity for the most demanding and innovative interactive TV features. Its 2GB NAND flash enables Divitel to offer Pause-Live TV functionality as a standard TV experience, whereas its optional wireless capabilities allow audio and video transmission from the internet gateway over Wi-Fi to the set-top box, whilst eliminating the need for cables.
